DEER

Το ελάφι είναι το πρώτο σχέδιο που φτιάχτηκε και σήμα κατατεθέν της σχεδιάστριας και αποτελεί το σύμβολο της Ρόδου. Ο παππούς της σχεδιάστριας ήταν γνωστός για το ροδίτικο ελάφι του, που σου έδινε την ψευδαίσθηση ότι πετούσε. Το σχέδιο είναι αναλογικό με του παππού σε μια όμως μοντέρνα, λιτή γραμμή, αφήνοντας τον καθένα να δει ό,τι θέλει, με ελεύθερη την φαντασία του.

Το ελάφι έχει κρυμμένες καρδιές μέσα. Το πρόσωπο του ελαφιού θυμίζει και πουλί γιατί το ελάφι πετάει. Τα πόδια έχουν αυτή την μορφή γιατί οι άνθρωποι των σπηλαίων όταν ζωγράφιζαν τα άλογα δεν μπορούσαν να αντιληφθούν ότι τρέχουν και τα ζωγράφιζαν σαν να πετούσαν.

The deer is the first design that was made, and a trademark of the designer and it constitutes the symbol of Rhodes. The grandfather of the designer was famous for his Rhodian deer, that gave the impression that it was flying. The design is similar to the grandfather’s in a modern, simple line though, leaving one to see whatever they want, with a free imagination.

The deer has hidden hearts inside. The face of the deer also reminds of a bird because the deer flies. The legs have this form because when cave people painted horses they could not perceive that they were running so they painted them like they were flying.
